Brooke Surgener is an indie folk/ pop artist from Erie Pennsylvania, known for her bright soothing voice and performance that leaves a lasting impact. Inspired by artists such as First Aid Kit, The Head And The Heart, and Gabrielle Aplin, the multi-instrumentalist writes from personal experience that connects the listener to a familiar feeling.
An award winning cosplayer, and over 1 million views on youtube, Brooke uses her passions of music and storytelling to create expressive music videos with well known and original characters. Her videos have gained the attention of “Cosplay Culture Magazine” for her original song “Another World”.
Brooke’s original full length album“Moon Waves” is a collective of catchy folk driven melodies, at times arranged with dreamy indie/ pop as heard in “I Hate You The Least”. The album explores Brooke’s skills in songwriting, which follows the singer over the last 4 years as she experiences love, grief, depression, and even friendship - heard in a heartwarming tribute dedicated to her dog.
